Michael’s Presentation:
Overview of The Tower of Babel and Ancient Man
This presentation looks at the historical, cultural, and archaeological evidences supporting the Biblical account of the rise of advanced civilizations after Noah’s Flood, including the residents of Babel and the subsequent dispersion. We will examine several technological discoveries, sometimes referred to as OOPARTS (meaning Out Of Place ARTifactS) which give serious support to the premise that ancient man had a high degree of science, technology, engineering, and trans-oceanic travel as opposed to the evolutionary worldview of man being primitive. Several previously identified “Missing Links” will be shown to not be a part of human ancestry.

“Grand Canyon – Evidence for the Genesis Record or Evidence for Uniformitarianism”
Geologists have identified that rock layers and geologic features provide evidence of what happened in the past. The Grand Canyon exposes nearly one mile of rock layers that are evidence of past events. The interpretation of these events is based on one’s world view. Secular geologists have concluded that the deepest rocks found at the Grand Canyon are 1-2 billion years old and the thick sequence of sedimentary rocks were slowly deposited over hundreds of millions of years. The Grand Canyon was then carved over millions of years by the action of the Colorado River. Biblical geologists have concluded that the deepest rocks in the Grand Canyon were created by God about 6,500 years ago and the sedimentary rocks were deposited during the one-year Noah’s Flood. The Grand Canyon was then carved quickly either at the end of the Flood or by a catastrophic event a few years after the Flood. This talk presents geologic evidence from the Grand Canyon and other recent geologic events such as Mount Saint Helens that show the Grand Canyon was formed by a catastrophic event and according to the Bible that event was Noah’s Flood.
“Survey of the Geology of Arizona and the Salt River Valley from a Biblical Perspective” (Technical – Junior High and above)
This talk starts with a “Geology 101” type discussion that is focused on the types of rocks and how they formed and the principals that are used to interpret geological features. The talk finishes by presenting a different view of the geology of Arizona, one from a Biblical perspective. This talk should be split over a minimum of two sessions.
“Geological Interpretation – The Battle of World Views”
The statistics are showing that every year 80% of youth that have been brought up in the Church stop going to Church as soon as they turn 20 years old. This talk discusses why this is happening. This talk also provides a comparison of the two main world views, the Biblical World View and the Secular World View and provides scientific evidence from the Grand Canyon that supports the Biblical World View. The talk finishes with a discussion on the significance of geologic features. This talk is semi-technical and is designed for ages 5th grade and up.
“Volcanism in Arizona from a Biblical Perspective”
Did you know that more than 30% of the land surface in Arizona is characterized by volcanic features? This talk shows that at one time Arizona was one of the most volcanically active locations on the Earth. However, when did this volcanism occur? Did it occur over hundreds of millions of years according to the secular timescale or within the last 6,500 years according to the Bible? This talk presents the different types of volcanoes and provides a Biblical explanation for their presence in Arizona.
The Geology of Kartchner Caverns and the Whetstone Mountains
Kartchner Caverns is one of Arizona’s geologic wonders. The cave rivals larger and more famous caves such as Carlsbad Caverns and Mammoth Cave in the beauty of its cave formations. Secular geologists have concluded through evaluation of index fossils that the limestone rocks in which Kartchner Caverns has formed were deposited hundreds of millions of years ago and radioisotope dating has indicated that the cave started forming more than 70,000 years ago. However, actual observation at Kartchner Caverns and at other caves show that cave formations such as stalactites and stalagmites do indeed grow rapidly and within the Biblical framework of less than 4,000 years. This talk shows that the Biblical Record of Noah’s Flood provides the best explanation for the formation of Kartchner Caverns and other caves.
The Rocks Will Cry Out – The Biblical Significance of Rocks
Learn how rocks originated and how they formed. See that rocks and minerals play a significant role in the Bible. Discover that Jesus was a geological engineer.

Natural Disasters, Why Do They Happen?
Natural disasters have the capacity of taking many lives, destroying property, and causing extreme suffering. No single events, other than wars, can cause so much destruction. Why do natural disasters occur? Why would a loving God allow the pain, death and suffering that are associated with natural disasters? These are the questions that have been asked by Christians and skeptics alike. The answer is found in the Bible and particularly in the Book of Genesis. This presentation will explore the Biblical history and science of natural disasters and will attempt to explain why they occur.

“The Real Scoop on the Scopes Trial”
Exposes what really happened at the John Scopes trial. Was this a quest for justice or a publicity stunt? How was the ACLU involved? Was Scopes convicted? Was evolution shown to be scientific fact? This presentation provides the background, setting, and legal maneuvers used during this historic case.

The Big Bang, Time, and the God of This Age
Presents the Big Bang from an energy (thermodynamics) standpoint, how it relates to the issue of inadequate time for light to travel such long distances and how time has become the god of evolution. Norm also discusses time and light from a Biblical perspective.
Energy and the Death of the Universe (for High School and above)
Approximately 60 minutes
We live in an ordered universe controlled by governing laws. What are these “Laws of the Universe” and why do they exist? Another truth of the universe is decay. It’s running down. Why? How? How do the Laws of Thermodynamics apply? – Conservation and Decay, Order and Chaos. Evolutionists frequently disdain Creationist arguments using the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics (law of decay) saying it does not apply to evolution. Is this a valid argument?
Six Week Class:
Understanding Origins from a Biblical Perspective – Outline of Sessions
Approximately 60-70 minutes/session. Can adjust to do for Sunday School or mid-week evening course.
Session 1 – Introduction
The introduction session covers why the subject is extremely important in today’s humanistic society that accepts and teaches an anti-Biblical view of origins. It looks at many of the misconceptions of what Biblical Creationism teaches, and shows how creation is foundational to the gospel and many other key doctrines of the Christian Faith including our theology and view of scripture. It also presents an overview of how the history of evolutionary thought has impacted society and the church, and discusses how our view of origins impacts our whole worldview.
Key verses:
· It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. – Psalm 118:8
· We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ — 2 Corinthians 10:5
Session 2 –Overview of Biological Evolution
This session looks at the claims of biological evolution in light of observation and in light of what we can understand about biological variation from scripture. This includes explanations of horizontal and vertical evolution, genetics, mutation and natural selection. The importance of information & evolution’s inability to explain the source for or the increase of this information is presented. There is also significant discussion on the biological model from Scripture & how this better fits the observable facts.
Key verses:
· “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds…” – Genesis 1:24
· “And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every kind into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female” – Genesis 6:19
Session 3 –Design and the Origin of Life
This session looks at the design & purpose we see throughout the earth & the universe, the overwhelming complexity of life, & the impossibility of life by accident. It shows how this design points to a loving, powerful and wise God that loves beauty and orderliness. This session also briefly discusses the impact of the Intelligent Design Movement & examples of animal design in nature that defy evolutionary explanation.
Key verses:
· For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. Romans 1:20
· LORD, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. – Psalm 104:24
Session 4 –Stars, Light and Energy
This session looks at some topics related to astrological evolution and the claims that a universe filled with order, and constrained by natural laws, could arise by chance in defiance of these laws now operating. Discussion covers the origin of the universe, the problems with the Big Bang Theory & the roles of the laws of science – especially the laws of order. Biblical considerations of light and energy are discussed, and how they relate to this issue and to our understanding of God and his workings in history.
Key verses:
· “Do you know the ordinances of the heavens, Or fix their rule over the earth?” Job 38:33
· The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. Romans 8:19-21
Session 5 –The Flood, Fossils and Earth History
This session looks at the overwhelming support of the creation account from the fossil record and how the Genesis Flood relates to this topic and the interpretations of geological evolution. A Biblical overview of a global catastrophic flood is given, and the feasibility/sufficiency of Noah’s Ark is presented. The Tower of Babel, the Ice Age and the evidence for highly intelligent early man are also touched upon.
Key verses:
· Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; men and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds of the air were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left and those with him in the ark. Gen 7:23
· They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 2 Pet 3:4-6
Session 6 –Age of the Earth
This session looks at the basic question that is on most Christian’s minds when the subject of evolution is discussed and that is “how old is the earth?”. A look at the viability of old vs. young earth interpretations of astrological and geological features is presented and how our interpretations are influenced by the world. Do you have to check your mind at the door to believe in a young earth? Will it truly impact evangelism to support a worldly unpopular view? Has the concept of deep time become the god of this age? These are all very relevant questions that have tremendous theological impacts. The error of old earth interpretations and its inconsistencies with Scripture and the nature of God are discussed in detail.
Key verses:
· Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned. Romans 5:12
· For in six days, the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. Exodus 20:11

All Creation Speaks: Scientific evidence which refutes the theory of evolution includes: No known naturalistic mechanism for origin of life; Laws of thermodynamics; Irreducible complexity; Law of Biogenesis and Complexity of cellular life.
Science & the Bible:Scientific evidence which supports the biblical record of creation includes: The fossil record records stasis and not evolutionary progression. A clear explanation of why radioisotopic dating is not valid. Discovery of information content within DNA precludes any explanation for abiogenesis (life starting from non-life). Impossibility of a biologic perpetual motion machine!
The Creation Revelation:Why the scientific method can not provide an explanation for the origin of the universe. The opening chapter of the bible reveals the true origin of the universe and is consistent with the observations of the physical universe. Relevance of an experiment on the ISS (international space station) is discussed. Origin of the Genesis “first light” is revealed by scripture. Why the “Gap Theory” is totally unscriptural and unnecessary.
Relevance of Genesis:Genesis is the foundation of the Christian gospel. This is why Jesus said “if you do not believe the writings of Moses, how will you believe my words?” The credibility and integrity of all scripture is compromised if the Genesis account of origins, life and the world wide flood is not taught as factual history.
The Miracle of Christmas: A fascinating account of the birth of Jesus Christ from the revelation of the Old and New Testament scripture. Includes the genealogy of Christ, journey of the Magi and the origin of the Star of Bethlehem.
Future of Mankind: A unique briefing on the… Future of Mankind. You will not find this information in popular magazines, on the 6 o’clock news, in newspapers or even in school text books. It simply doesn’t make for “good press” Why? Because it represents the antithesis of evolutionary dogma which is being promoted every day- everywhere as factual.

Created to Fly – Bio-Aerodynamics and Bio-Mimicry in Advanced Aircraft Designs
The amazing aerodynamic capabilities of a bird in flight has has inspired the designers of flying machines for over a century. The irreducible complexity of nature’s flying creatures are shown to reveal God’s creative design is superior to all of man’s most advanced aircraft. Current aerodynamic wind tunnel research on birds and insect flight is being used to design more efficient, maneuverable unmanned aircraft will be presented along with many other recent inspiration of bio-mimicry in military and other advanced technology areas.
Starlight and Time – A State of the Art Review
Current research models in Creation Astronomy are reviewed, which explore the question: How could light from stars and galaxies that are billions of light years away from the Earth have reached us on a young Earth (6-10,000 years old)? The models reviewed include White Hole Cosmology by Dr. Russ Humphries, Cosmological Relativity by Dr. John Hartnett, Near-time propagation of light through Quantum Spaces by Mark Amundrud, Near-time observation of light from Stars by Steve Miller, and Rapid Formation Model of the Universe by Dr. Robert Hermann.
The Origin of the Universe and the Laws of Thermodynamics
Explores the “big bang” model of the universe and shows the failure of this evolutionary model to explain the origin of matter, energy and information. All four laws of thermodynamics are reviewed and are shown to contradict evolution and support creation.
Critical Thinking about Creation and Evolution
Designed for Sr. High and College students, this talk exposes the unfounded assumptions and fuzzy logic used by evolutionists regarding the origin of the universe, origin of life, the fossil record, and dinosaurs. Scientific data and logical reasoning reveals the falliaies in the arguments for evolution and in turn shows the evidence in support of creation.
The Origin of Life
Has science proved life came from non-life? Was life planted here on earth by aliens? We explore the scientific data and compare the results to expose the lie of evolution and give extensive evidence for the creation of life.
Your Worldview Does Make a Difference
Your worldview, or belief system determines your purpose in life. How can you know if what you believe is true? We look at worldviews based on evolution, theistic evolution, progressive creationism, and Biblical creationism and discuss the consequences of each belief system.
Creation, Science and the Bible
Are the Bible and science compatible? We dispel the myth that creation is religion and evolution is science, and reveal many amazing scientific allusions in the Bible. Science textbooks become obsolete, but the Bible is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Dr. Joseph Kezele

The Age of the Earth
Opens with preliminary points about the relationship among Scripture, science and evolution. After a brief look at how rocks cannot be dated, Helium diffusion in zircon crystals is examined. Examples of other methods of dating that give a young age of the Earth and the solar system are shown as well. Then the verb tenses of the Hebrew in the early chapters of Genesis demonstrate that those chapters are indeed historical narratives that can be fully trusted in they communicate from God to us rather than being simply a poetic layout of concepts of truth. The presentation closes with verses from Exodus and the New Testament confirming a young Earth.
The Age of the Universe. 50 minutes
Begins looking at the concepts of distance and time from the evolutionary and Biblical points of view. Then the expansion of the universe is examined from both physical evidence and Scripture as then is the pivotal issue of whether or not the universe has a center and an edge. The implications of this are discussed, as is the issue of the beginning of matter and energy. The real Big Bang in the future concludes this presentation.
Are Dinosaurs More Recent than You Think? 60 minutes

Astronomy for the Creationist 50 minutes
Fascinating features of the Moon, Sun, and solar eclipses and why solar eclipses have given us the opportunity to learn so much about the universe start off this presentation. We then explore interesting facts about the other planets and their moons and comets that demonstrate the solar system is young. The significance of spiral arms in galaxies, Earth’s position in the Milky Way and heavy elements in the “early” universe are discussed.
Dinos to Birds? – Horse Feathers! 50 minutes

The presentation begins and ends with two rarely used verses from Scripture that are incredibly appropriate for this subject.
DNA, Proteins, Information and the Origin of Life. 60 minutes
A review of the structure and synthesis of DNA and Proteins demonstrates how they could not have arisen spontaneously and had to be created simultaneously, thus answering the question, What came first, the chicken or the egg?” Finishes with a discussion on information and demonstrates how DNA is the most advanced information storage system known to man.
Do You Have a Date with Carbon 14? 60 minutes
Do You Have a Date with Carbon-14 opens with preliminary points about the relationships among Scripture, science and evolution. After a look at the basics of atomic structure, the formation and decay processes of Carbon-14 are presented. The fascinating finding of C-14 in diamonds and coal are discussed along with the very important implications for the age of the earth. Then the effect of the decay of C-14 in the human body is discussed in relation to the genetic burden of mutations and further implications for the human race. This presentations ends with a brief discussion of spiritual decay and renewal.
Does God Exist? 60 minutes

Does Sickle Cell Anemia Provide Evidence for Evolution? 50 minutes.
Begins with looking the production and structure of hemoglobin, the material that carries oxygen in the blood. Then the role of the mutation responsible for sickle cell anemia is examined, followed by the question of sickle cell anemia providing protection against malaria. The toll of misery and suffering of sickle cell anemia is presented.
Five Impossible Questions for Evolutionists.
Deals with these issues so that it can be understood that only the God of the Bible can provide the answers to them: Where did matter and energy come from?; Where did the first living cell come from?; Where did the Cambrian explosion come from?; Where did the dinosaurs come from? Where did information come from?
Fossils and Noah’s Flood. 60 minutes
Examines the Biblical teaching about Noah’s Flood, especially its global extent, establishes that long ages are not necessary for what we observe today, and presents the scientific evidence for a worldwide flood. It finishes with a discussion of the significance of these issues for Biblical authority.
From Darwin to Dictatorship. 60 minutes
This hard-hitting presentation is born from Dr. Kezele’s personal experiences in Eastern Europe and opens with the “Laying the Foundation” for evolution that Ernst Häckel laid down in Germany and in Europe as a whole. It then reviews how this foundation was used to promote racism and how the Nazis took advantage of that foundation. The scene then shifts to Soviet Russia after “Revolution of Foundation” and a recounting of some of the terrible events that occurred there in an evolutionary based political system. The last sections are “Evolution of Foundation” in America and “The Consequences”. They show why we now have to deal with racism, abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cells, and rationing of health care.
Grand Canyon – The Whole Truth. 50 minutes
Contrasts the worldviews that accompany young-earth and old-earth models of what is observed and what is thought to have occurred at the Grand Canyon. The geological and fossil evidence are examined to see which model fits best. Events at Mount St. Helens are reviewed to demonstrate rapid canyon formation, as an example of how the Grand Canyon formed.
Häckel, Hitler and the Medical Consequences of Evolutionary Thought. 75 minutes
(Can be given in two parts with a break)
Begins with a review of the foundation for evolution laid down by Dr. Ernst Hackle in Germany, including his fraudulent drawings, the Biogenetic Law, vestigial organs, his evolutionary tree of life and speechless ape-man. Ilya Ivanov’s human-ape hybridization attempts are examined, along with Dr. Owen Lovejoy’s plaster surgery on Lucy’s pelvis. The concept of human subtypes and genocide in Australia, German Southwest Africa and the territory occupied by the Third Reich are presented, focusing on medical experimentation on concentration camp prisoners. Attention is then turned to abortion, euthanasia, school violence and embryonic stem cell research in the United States. Finally a look at the concept of Junk DNA and the delay in medical research it caused.
The Ice Age and the Woolly Mammoths. 60 minutes
Begins with a review of glacier terminology, compares the evolutionary model and the Flood account as the cause of the Ice Age, examines migratory patterns of man and animals, the end of the Ice Age and explores explanations of the demise of the woolly mammoths.
Is Genesis Relevant in America Today? 35 – 40 minutes. Designed for Sunday morning service.
Opens with a review of the Scriptural foundation of America, followed by a look at the replacement of belief in God as Creator by the doctrine of atheistic evolution. It then focuses on Education as the battleground, and how a student can maintain a biblical worldview in the face of such attacks. Satan’s tactics and the meaning of the word “day” are examined before looking at a few simple facts about the cell. It concludes with the reasons why Genesis is still relevant in America today.
Men of Science 25 minutes
Starts with a review of some of the great scientists of the past and present who based their belief in a young-Earth creation model on Scripture due to their expectation that the God of the Bible is a God of order. The contrast between operative and historical science is presented along with some evidence to highlight basic underlying assumptions of evolution. Finally Scripture is presented which contains the essence of the first two Laws of Thermodynamics.
Natural Selection and Speciation – Having Fun with Dogs and the Ice Age. 60 minutes
This is a fun talk featuring dogs that first makes the distinction between species and the “biblical kind”. It then reviews what Scripture has to say about Noah’s flood and the animals, each “according to its kind”. Artificial selection (breeding) and then natural selection are discussed, explaining how they occur. Then the post flood world, including the single Ice Age is presented, with the explanation of how that brought about the environmental pressures to drive speciation. A final contrast is given between the demand of evolution for new information to be added to an initially very small gene pool by random chance events through mutations causing the development of new kinds, and the biblical concept of starting with a large gene pool, which is divided by migration and natural selection leading to loss of genetic information to cause change within each kind. The final brief point follows that biblical model better fits the laws of science, including the second Law of Thermodynamics.
The Perfectly Providing Placenta. 70 minutes
This very well diagrammed presentation starts with the development of the human embryo and shows how it progresses to the beginning of the development of the placenta. The remainder of the presentation focuses on the placenta itself, its subsequent development, and how it takes on the functions of supporting the life of the embryo while the placenta itself is growing and changing. Know the placenta’s functions, be amazed by what the placenta does to the uterus and learn why the mammalian system of reproduction had to have been created.

Sea Horses, Woodpeckers and Monarch Butterflies. 45 minutes.
An easy to grasp look at three creatures that had to be created and could not possibly have evolved. Good for grade school children as well.
Vestigial Organs. 50 minutes
This presentation focuses on organs and structures in the human body that were labeled as useless leftovers of evolution, but have subsequently been shown to have definite functions for which they were designed. Have fun looking at drawings of tonsils, the appendix, the plantaris muscle, goose pimples the male brain and twelve other examples.
What Is Junk DNA? Highly technical. 60 minutes.

Then a world tour of language maps and the Biblical account of the origin of languages are presented.
What We Are Up Against 25 minutes
Begins with a review of the evolutionary scenario, quotations of Richard Dawkins, and how the Church responds in general to attack by evolution. The seven “Cs” of biblical history are presented, along with a few examples of compromise on the part of people who state they are Bible believing Christians.
Who Were the Ape-men? 50 minutes
Opens with the Biblical account of the creation of man, is followed by the evolutionary starting assumptions, and then compares various anatomical features of man, simians and the fossils. Then the three ways to make an ape-man are presented, followed by a dismantling of our supposed ancestral family tree.
Why the Earth Is Young!
Presents the Scriptural information regarding the meaning of the word “day” in Genesis Chapter 1, the significance of the global Genesis Flood regarding the age of the Earth, and the consequences of compromising Scripture in order to accommodate long ages. A brief discussion of the significance of the finding of Carbon-14 in coal and diamonds, the decay of the magnetic field of the planet and the decay of the Human genome concludes the presentation.
You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby! – The Transition from Prenatal to Postnatal Circulation. 60 minutes

Many of the contributing factors that stimulate these changes are also given, demonstrating the irreducible complexity of the mammalian system of giving birth. A medical case history is presented with a surprise ending, and the relevance of all of this to Genesis is demonstrated.
Steve Lachonas
Live Lessons From the Bible and Biology
Combining God’s living Word with God’s living Creation, Steve will start his presentation with several live animals, focusing on both their incredible design and the lessons they teach us about God and his Word. These themes look at how a Madagascar Hissing cockroach can teach us about bearing a burden, based on real life technology being used by scientists. About an African Bullfrog, that lies dormant for ten months, only to come to life once again and teach us what it means to be devoted. Can a lizard have no legs and still teach us about change? Or a Hornbill bird exhort us to watch over others? And what can a watching a Tarantula shed teach us about Salvation? After these animals and the themes that accompany them are answered, this wildly interactive presentation ends with a summary of how important it is to see how God’s creation & Genesis, ultimately points us to our Creator Jesus, his gospel and the rest of Scripture.
Madagascar Hissing Cockroach
What can a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach teach us about bearing a burden? Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches are actually being used as “beast’s of burden by carrying small hi-tech back pack that allows people to remotely control them to find people and convey messages under rubble. An electrical engineer likened his research to the domestication of horses, oxen and other so-called beasts of burden. But how does this relate to the word and concept of burdens in scripture? There are several themes relating to the word burden in scripture. Matthew 11:30, Galatians 6:2, Psalm 55:22 If your interested in watching a cockroach actually move using this technology, here is the link: http://www.nbcnews.com/technology/futureoftech/remote-control-tech-turns-cockroaches-beasts-burden-985085
African Bullfrog
What can a frog teach us about devotion? Male African Bullfrogs make devoted parents. How much more should we as parents be the same? But the concept of Biblical devotion goes way beyond parental devotion. Here are some of the scriptures relating to the concept of devotion for the Christian. Be: Devoted to God’s commandments (Psalm 119:45), Devoted to prayer (Colossians 4:2), Devoted to our pastors/teachers/leaders (Acts 2:42) (1 Corinth 16:16), Devoted to one another in love (Romans 12:10)
European Legless Lizard
What can a Legless Lizard teach us about God’s character? Legless lizards are great examples of how God has designed animals within a created “kind” to change due to needs of the animal in a particular environment. Change happens in the natural world and in our world all the time. Sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad. But one thing remains the same: Our God never changes! Here is what God’s word has to say about that: Malachi: 3:6, Hebrews 13:8
Tarantula
What can a tarantula shed teach us about Salvation? Tarantulas wear their skeletons on the outside. We call this an exoskeleton. But this type of skeleton does way more than protect them. It is a great example of what it means to be a “new creation” in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17

50 Facts vs. Evolution
See for yourself the overwhelming scientific evidences that prove Special Creation is the only viable option for our origin. “You don’t have to believe anything that I tell you. All I ask is that you look at what I can show you and weigh it against anything that has you believing in anything other than what the Bible says.” For anyone who does so, it is, as Russ says, a “no brainer.”

This talk presents convincing scientific evidence against the model of evolution as well as scientific evidence for a Creator God. It covers some of the most popular topics used in textbooks to promote evolution. This talk is presented in an easy to understand manner. Topics include: The results of Man’s attempts to create life (includes the Miller experiment), The cell and probability, The primordial soup and science, Information and complexity.
Humans and Apes, but no Ape-men
We are fearfully and wonderfully made. The track record for evolution has not been good. Evolutionists have a history of many mistaken claims. Two popular creatures are examined: Neanderthals and Lucy (the australopithecine). The lecture finishes by showing how we are fearfully and wonderfully made and that only an all-knowing Creator could create us.
The Age of the Earth
This lecture, presented in an easy to understand manner, takes a scientific and Biblical approach to the age of the earth. Topics include: How long were the days of creation, are long ages necessary, carbon-14 dating, radioisotope dating methods, and scientific evidences for a young earth.
Noah’s Ark and the Flood
This lecture uses logic and evidence to support a worldwide flood. Six questions are answered. (1) Does God exist? (2) Is He an all-knowing, all-powerful Being? (3) Is a worldwide flood possible? (4) What does the Bible teach about the Flood? (5) Are long ages necessary for what we observe? (6) Is there any evidence of a worldwide flood?
Astronomy and the Bible
This is one of the most difficult topics for Christians to understand and accept. However, this lecture brings it to a level for the lay person. All we hear is the big bang and that the universe is billions of years old. This lecture separates speculation from facts. Topics include: laws of science and the origin of the universe, how do galaxies form the origin of stars, how to evaluate the evidence for the age of the universe, new amazing evidence that the universe is not that old, and why it matters what we believe about the origin of the universe.
Fossils and the History of the World
This is not just another look at fossil after fossil. This presentation starts by examining the mechanism for change (natural selection and mutations). Are mutations and natural selection capable of creating the transitions needed for evolution? Do we observe evolution today? The most famous transitions (horse and whales) are examined. When the evidence is examined the only conclusion is that all creatures were created after their kind.
Evidence That Demands A Creator
A powerful lecture and demonstration on apologetics. Five different subjects are presented with demonstrations on how to respond to each.
- The origin of the universe
- Where did God come from?
- The origin and nature of information (DNA)
- The problem of evil
- Evidence from design
Thinking Biblically About Dinosaurs
This talk designed for junior high and above answers the following questions: Why pick on dinosaurs, When did dinosaurs live, How many kinds of dinosaurs existed, Are dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible, What happened to the dinosaurs, What should we be teaching about dinosaurs
Strategic Evangelism: 4 Power Questions to Ask an Evolutionist
Learn 4 power questions to ask an evolutionist. The lecture begins with an analysis of the Biblical foundation for creation and then demonstrates why evolution cannot be defended scientifically and must rely on faith. It shows how the layperson can successfully witness to an evolutionist.
Cloning, Stem Cells and the Bible
Great for teens and adults. This lecture explains the concepts of cloning and what has gone wrong. It discusses the difference between the two types of stem cells and current research. The lecture finishes by showing that the Bible and the scientific evidence confirm life begins at conception. A powerful Pro-Life talk.
Aliens, UFOs, and the Bible
Why do people believe in UFOs? How real is the evidence for UFOs? Is it possible for life to begin by natural processes? The evidence for UFOs is presented which is followed by a scientific critique of the evidence. Did God create life on other planets? The lecture ends with an analysis of Ezekiel chapter one. Did Ezekiel see a UFO?
History, Race, and the Bible
The talk begins with a comparison of two worldviews and then answers the questions Where did Cain get his wife? and If we all descended from two people, where did all the races come from? Natural selection and mutations are examined. What did Charles Darwin’s ideas contribute to society? The talk ends by answering four questions about why it matters what we believe.
Apologetics of End Times
The theme is Paradise Created, Paradise Lost, Paradise Restored, and it all points to Christ. You will learn about the Book of Revelation in 5 minutes, tools for understanding the end times, Paradise created, lost and restored, and the battle for sovereignty.
GRADES 7-12 (generally 50 minutes)
Ape-men and Amazing Creatures
The lecture begins with an overview of the former facts of evolution. Next, two famous creatures are examined Lucy and the Neanderthals. We finish with a discussion of some amazing creatures.
Power Witnessing
Four power questions to ask an evolutionist and how to take the discussion to the Gospel.
Did God Use Evolution
Biblical and scientific evidences that demonstrate the Bible and evolution are not compatible. Topics include: The order of events, the length of the days of creation, and the Genesis Flood.
The Bible, Science, and Dating
This lecture covers a series of topics related to dating: What is the most important issue in the creation/evolution debate, why the age of the earth is important, are long ages necessary, understanding how the dating methods really work, carbon-14 dating, Mount Saint Helens , and evidences for a young earth and universe.
Critical Thinking, Science, and the Creation/Evolution Debate
The lecture starts with an analysis of common evidences used to support evolution. A case study in deception, Lucy the missing link, is examined. The lecture finishes by critically examining statements in science textbooks.
Dinosaurs
How many kinds of dinosaurs existed? Could you out run a T-rex? Where did dinosaurs come from? When did dinosaurs live? Are dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible? Were dinosaurs on the Ark ? What happened to the Dinosaurs?
Science, UFOs, and Amazing Creatures
How real is the evidence for UFOs? Is it possible for life to begin by natural processes? The evidence for UFOs is presented which is followed by a scientific critique of the evidence. Did God create life on other planets?
CHILDREN (grades 1-6) (generally 50 minutes)
Dinosaurs (grades 1-6)
Topics include: Understanding God’s creation, where did dinosaurs come from? What did dinosaurs look like? How fast could dinosaurs run? What happened to the dinosaurs? Were dinosaurs on the Ark ? Are dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible? The talk ends with a clear picture of the Gospel.
The Seven Cs of History (Grades 1-6, also Jr High)

Gods Amazing Creation (Grades 1-6, also Jr High )
This is a fun but informative lecture. It begins by examining some incredible creatures that defy evolution. The lecture then turns to Gods most amazing creation (people). We discuss why we are fearfully and wonderfully made by looking at the amazing way God has made us: The eye, the ear, the heart, blood vessels, and skin.
Old Bones and Fossils
Specifically designed for children. A talk about fossils and the history of the world. What is a fossil? What we see today is everything is created after its kind. Old bones look exactly like creatures living today supporting God created everything after its kind in the past. The Genesis Flood and why we have so many fossils today.
SUNDAY SERVICES (45 minutes)
Examining Our Foundations
This sermon examines the foundations for what we believe about the Bible. Did God use evolution? It covers 9 biblical evidences why the Bible cannot be harmonized with evolution. It concludes with the reliability of the Bible and the Gospel message.
Creation to the Cross
A hard-hitting lecture on understanding the creation/evolution issue. A non-technical discussion on why creation must be an important issue to the church. Topics include: Understanding the issue, The battleground, Effects of evolution, Warfare and the church, The cross without creation, Preparing for battle, The Creator and His creation.
Strategic Evangelism
Topics include: A Biblical explanation of creation, a look at the real meaning of evolution, two worldviews in conflict and how to evangelize to evolutionists by using four power questions. A central theme is how to take the discussion to the Gospel.
Creation, Cloning, and Life
This sermon covers three main areas: 1) Cloning and what has gone wrong, 2) The facts about stem cells, 3) The value of life and abortion.
Astronomy and the Bible
The evidence supports Psalms 19:1. The sermon shows why the heavens declare the glory of God. Topics include: the origin of stars and galaxies, the big bang, and amazing scientific evidence that confirms the universe had to have a Creator.
Fossils and the History of the World
The purpose of this sermon is to show the Bible is true all creatures were created after this kind. God gave all creatures the capability to vary within kind but not become new kinds. It also establishes that evolution is not happening today and did not happen in the past.

Scientific Evidence For Creation/Design in Nature
(A favorite with audiences)
Content: We regularly hear from critics that “creation is either something you believe or don’t believe, but there’s no evidence for it.” The clear case for creation has as its foundation what Paul teaches in Romans chapter 1: that God’s living creation (even though it has been marred by sin) is “clearly seen.” Mr. Sherwin begins his presentation by describing the tools needed to discover objects that have been made (‘created’) vs. objects that form over time, chance and natural processes. Non-technical evidences for creation are then presented from the microscopic world (bacteria) and the macroscopic world (animals such as the bat and wood-pecker). Even evolutionists like the late G. Hardin of U.C. Santa Barbara admit that “nature itself challenges evolutionary theory.” The presentation is summarized from verses from Romans 1.
Audience: Jr. High to Adult Length: 60 min.
Human Evolution
(One of the weakest arguments for evolution)
Content: Ever since Darwin , evolutionists’ insistence that we accept our ‘primate ancestry’ has been troublesome to many Christians. However, the fossil record fails to show how such a strange progression of ape-to-man occurred. Alleged missing links are addressed (e.g. ‘Lucy’ and Neanderthals) as well as arguments from biochemistry (the similarity in human and chimpanzee DNA) and anatomy (tonsils, “tailbone” and the appendix). Devastating quotes from secular sources show the man-from-ape idea to be only speculative. The Bible, the fossil record and good science continue to show that people have always been people – created in God’s image. Key verse: Genesis 1:27.
Audience: High School to Adult Length: 50 min.
Creation, Evolutionism, and the Bible
(A seminar favorite – may be given anytime)
Content: In this important issue of origins, man has either been supernaturally created, or he evolved from lower forms of life over the alleged millions of years. In other words, where you came from is at least as important as to where you are going! Mr. Sherwin begins, with audience participation, by defining and discussing important words like science, life and evolution. Evolutionary theory, with its philosophical worldview and impact on society, is then compared to the Biblical worldview based on Genesis. Sherwin concludes with an appeal to the Christian to know WHY we believe WHAT we believe and why Genesis should be our rock-solid foundation.
Audience: All Ages Length: 40-70 min.
Creation Evangelism
(Suggested for Sunday Service)
Content: Scripture reading: Mark 4:2-9, 13-20—the four soils. Mark 4 is compared to Peter’s and Paul’s witness to unbelievers in Acts. In Acts 2, Peter speaks to Jews that already have their soil prepared. Their stumbling block to salvation was that the Lord Jesus was the Messiah. Peter directly addressed this and thousands were saved. In Acts 14 and 17, Paul spoke to pagans whose soil was not prepared but was cluttered with evolutionary humanism. He brought them “back to Genesis” by first describing who the Creator was and then taking them to the Cross. Paul didn’t get as many converts as Peter because the Jews already had the foundation. A comparison is then made of America of the past (people had the foundation due to a Biblical emphasis in society) versus today (a pagan culture with no Biblical foundation – no knowledge of God). ICR suggests presenting the Genesis creation first as we witness for Christ (the Creator) and His redemptive work on the Cross.
Audience: Adult Length: 40 min.
Dinosaurs & The Flood
(A seminar favorite – older children enjoy this talk about “missionary lizards.”)
Content: This interesting talk begins by asking children under twelve to identify pictures of some of the more popular “thunder lizards.” He then shows that a creationist and evolutionist can together dig up a dinosaur fossil. They will just disagree as to where the dinosaur came from, how long ago it lived, and what killed it! For example, secular scientists present many strange theories to the public about how the dinosaurs died off. What is missing is, of course, the massive Flood of Genesis. Quotes regarding huge floods on Mars are shown where there is not a drop of water seen. Key chapters: Job 40-41
Audience: Jr. High to Adult Length: 60 min.
Creation, Evolutionism & the Fossil Record
(Rock solid evidence for creation!)
Content: The “record of the rocks” (sedimentary strata found worldwide) will support either creation or evolution—this record cannot support both. The best physical, concrete evidence for creation is to be found in the billions of highly developed creatures found locked in these rock units. Indeed, a worldwide Flood (Genesis 6-9) is the best explanation as to why we find these creatures so well preserved. Fascinating Flood geology work on Grand Canyon and Mount St. Helens are also briefly discussed. Key chapters: Genesis 6 – 9
Audience: High School to Adult Length: 60 min.
The Demise of Darwinism
(Those who are convinced of Darwinian evolution should hear this!)
Content: Quotes taken from evolutionary sources show how this model of origins is a house built on sand. Mr. Sherwin takes the audience though each field in the life sciences showing, in non-technical language, how nothing is known for sure regarding macro-evolution (large change). Since there are two and only two models of origins, creation wins by default.
Audience: Adult Length: 70 min.
Mount St. Helens
(Bring your unbelieving friends to this talk!)
Content: Although only Noah and his family saw the Genesis flood occur, the Mount St. Helens explosion offers an outdoor laboratory of processes that probably occurred during the year-long event (Genesis 6-9). Many of the features which geologists believe take long periods have been seen to form rapidly: deposition, erosion, fossilization, petrifaction, coal formation, and radioisotope dating. All these areas of study point to a young earth!
Audience: Jr. High to Adult Length: 60 min.
Evolution is Against the Law
(Darwinism is clearly shown to be at odds with the very fabric of science.)
Content: Throughout our years of grade school and high school, we were taught that science has a number of laws, such as the law of cause and effect and the laws of genetics. Using non-technical language and easy-to-grasp concepts, Mr. Sherwin takes the audience through six of the best-known laws of science showing why the Biblical case for creation is supported by each and every law of science. Conversely, evolutionism fails at each one – it’s against the law!
Audience: Jr. High to Adult Length: 60 min.
Wonders of the Human Body
(Take a tour of our amazing body with its various interacting systems that could only have been designed by God)
Content: Think of a larger symphony producing the works of Mozart or Beethoven. It all begins with the individual playing his part. This is much like how our body operates with its 11 systems working in concert. Sadly, schools and the media erroneously teach that the human body is the result of “millions of years” of Darwinian evolution. No credit is given to the One who created these amazing systems designed to work as one. Consider our eye construction, the dynamic skeleton, the ability to hear the faintest sound, the brain’s amazing circuitry. The human body – a testament to our Creator’s wonderful intellect!
Audience: Jr. High to Adult Length: 60 min.
The Mighty, Wonderful Oceans
(A favorite with audiences)
Content: We sometimes take for granted the oceans of the world in all their majesty and power. Frank shows the amazing variety of life from tidal pools to the crushing depths over 5 miles down! Important paths or currents in the oceans mentioned in Scripture have been shown to exist. The critical significance of moon-induced tides giving us weather of the world is also discussed. Finally, the Genesis Flood is addressed with reference to the volume of water in the oceans.
Audience: Jr. High to Adult Length: 50 min.

Global Warming – Facts, Fallacies and Fantasies – 60 to 70 minutes
Global warming has been described in terms ranging from the greatest hoax ever perpetrated to the worst calamity to face human civilization and has inspired a plethora of politically polarized publications and movies. What is the truth about global warming? This presentation begins with a survey of climate change science within the context of natural and historical variability, including reference to the creationist perspective. Various global warming impacts are then presented and the issue of how we should respond is discussed within a biblical framework.
