Norm Crawford, B.S. Aerospace Engineering, M.S. Aerospace Engineering/Orbital Mechanics presents: “The Big Bang, Time, and the God of This Age”
Mr. Crawford has been employed at Honeywell for past 20 years as an engineer working in Thermodynamic and Mechanical Modeling. He previously worked at TRW with flight and targeting systems for ballistic missiles. He resides in Oro Valley near Tucson with his wife and children. Edwin Zimmer, CPA, has decided to step down as AzOSA Treasurer. He has accomplished a great service to us and the Lord by elevating the level of our record keeping and compliance with Federal and State regulations. We thank him most sincerely for what he has accomplished for AzOSA. We now need an accountant or a CPA to step up and take over the office of Treasurer. If you are interested or can refer someone you know and trust who has a heart for ministry and is qualified, please have them contact Edwin at 480-216-4660 or edzimmer@yahoo.com to learn what this would entail. Jonathan Sarfati of Creation Ministries International has committed to coming to Arizona under AzOSA’s sponsorship. This is a large commitment on our part. We need your help to find large churches that will schedule him to speak on Wednesday evening April 13, Sunday morning April 17 and that Sunday evening as well. He will be speaking for AzOSA itself on Tuesday the 12th in the Phoenix area and Thursday the 14th in Tucson. We will need everyone to step up and publicize these events, for this is a great opportunity to invite friends who still believe in evolution and need to hear the truth.
Due to scheduling conflicts the AzOSA Board Meeting is moved from September 11 to November 13. It will be in Tucson. Place and time to be announced. All members and Friends of AzOSA are invited to attend.
Lance Robinson headed up arrangements for AzOSA to be at the state convention. Ann Hines set up the exhibit. Several members staffed the booth on Friday and Saturday, being available to answer questions for attendees, and to sell resources. It was a very worthwhile experience we shall repeat next year. The Glen Canyon raft trip, tour through Glen Canyon Dam and hike through Antelope Canyon combined for a fantastic weekend. 38 participants thoroughly enjoyed the beauties of God’s creation, even in its fallen state. Click HERE to see a few photos of this event.
AzOSA President Joseph Kezele will be leaving for Latvia on September 12, and to the Ukraine in late September to teach Creation Evangelism in churches and in universities there. In addition, he would also be teaching the same material in Smolensk, Russia, as part of a mission team, immediately following the time in the Ukraine.
