► Nov 15 – 7:00 PM – Tucson: Seeing God’s Design Through Chemistry. You need air? You’re not kidding! There is no substitute for oxygen in biological life and for the operation of Earth’s life support systems. What absolutely unique features of water molecules cause water to be a liquid under normal conditions and ice to be less dense than liquid water? What features of oxygen and nitrogen molecules prevent them from reacting with each other in the atmosphere under normal conditions and from dissolving in the waters on Earth? John DeKorte, NAU chemistry professor emeritus, answers these questions and shows how the transportation and use of oxygen in our bodies unmistakably point toward intelligent design by an amazingly smart God.Click for more details about all presentations at the Pima County Events Page.
Maricopa County Events
► Nov 12 – 7:00 PM – Phoenix: Seeing God’s Design Through Chemistry. You might need air in Tucson, but perhaps even more in the Valley of the Sun! Prof. John DeKorte, Ph.D (inorganic chemisty) shows how the fundamental elements of the Universe precisely combine on Earth to permit human life in a life-supporting environment. Do you know why it is vital that water molecules cause water to be a liquid under normal conditions and ice to be less dense than liquid water? Did you know certain features of oxygen and nitrogen molecules prevent them from reacting with each other in the atmosphere under normal conditions and from dissolving in the waters of the Earth? How does the movement and chemical operation of oxygen in our bodies reflect the indescribable genius of a Creator God? This kind of chemistry has soul!
► Nov 13 – 7:00 PM – Tempe: Seeing God’s Design Through Chemistry. Dr. DeKorte provides the same presentation at a location nearer East and South Valley residents. If you miss the Monday talk, come to this one.
► Nov 14 – 7:00 PM – Arizona Christian University (Phoenix): Seeing God’s Design Through Chemistry. On campus but open to the public, Dr. DeKorte’s oxygen-enriched presentation comes to the academic environment with information even non-science people should know and can readily understand. Last chance in the Phoenix area!

Make a Resolution to Advance the Message
New Year’s resolutions can promise diet changes, job searches, or better grades. How about a resolution to advance the message of Creation this coming year – do something that can reap eternal rewards. Apply your skills and invest a few hours a month to propel our mission. This may well be your time to join the team in one of these areas:
► East side Assistant Book Master – a few hours per month helps advance this vital, ongoing, long-term educational initiative. Contact Dr. Joseph Kezele at Dr. Kezele’s contact portal.
► Marketing Consultant – help leadership team develop ideas and strategies for expanding AzOSA membership and influence in target areas. Contact Dr. Joseph Kezele at Dr. Kezele’s contact portal.
► Church Survey Assistant – using simple direct mail techniques, help this ongoing original research project obtain and organize data to understand origin science’s challenges in some churches and how to overcome them. Contact Dr. Joseph Kezele at Dr. Kezele’s contact portal.
► Media Coordinator – Step into the role with the information and many materials already in place for you to use. Feed AzOSA’s information to print and broadcast media. All you need is computer skills and the desire to transmit the potentially life-changing information about AzOSA to the media outlets. Tired of hearing the media bash our faith and our science? This is the opportunity for you! Contact Dr. Joseph Kezele at Dr. Kezele’s contact portal.
► Bookstore Assistant – Straightforward but vital to our mission. Help maintain the stock for the AzOSA stores, using the systems already in place. AzOSA can thrive only by delivering the materials people need to make the scientific case for Creation. You can directly contribute to everyone’s success. Produced by credentialed experts, AzOSA’s videos deliver information not easily found elsewhere. Curl up with some popcorn and fill your mind with something you’ll never forget. Need encouragement? Read Philippians 4:8. And then follow that advice with one or more of these:
“Energy and the Death of the Universe” – Take a few notes from this video and never fear a skeptic’s “scientific” challenges to Creation again. Click for more info here.
“A Creationist Perspective on the Human Genome” – learn about Human DNA and decide for yourself if it glorifies the Intelligent Designer or an undirected naturalistic origin. Click for more info here.
“The Message of The Grand Canyon” – Arizona’s most prominent attraction lays bare the geology that supports a worldwide flood. Click for more info here.
“You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby” – Whether you have had a baby or have been one, the processes and mechanisms that occur to make childbirth successful will blow you away. (Nothing too graphic – everything quite fantastic.) Click for more info here.
