Annual Dues Renewal Time
If you are not a Lifetime or Beneficiary Member of AzOSA, please click HERE, either to renew your annual membership or become a member for the first time. It is important to do this in February so that you may vote at the annual members’ meeting to elect the Board of Directors.
Annual Members’ Meeting February 27
Please set aside the afternoon of February 27 for the Annual AzOSA Members’ Meeting, 1 pm at Black Mountain Baptist Church, 33955 North Cave Creek Road, Cave Creek, AZ. In addition to the election of the Board of Directors, planning for upcoming activities will be discussed and decided. Membership input is highly desired – some of the best ideas and information come from the general membership.
Monty White – February Speaker
Monty White, Ph.D., Chemistry, of the Biblical Foundations Ministry in Wales, United Kingdom, will be presenting Was Darwin Deluded? at Community Church of Joy in Glendale on Monday, February 15, and Geological Time Bombs at First Baptist Church of Mesa on Tuesday, February 16, and at Book of Life in Tucson, February 18. Please click HERE for details and maps. Please note the new locations.
New AzOSA Website Features
Please check out several new features on the website to help you communicate with others what we do. After clicking on the EVENTS button and then your respective Division, dropdowns are there for Flyers that can be downloaded/printed, and for PowerPoint announcement slides that can be inserted into your church’s pre-service slide rotations. Please take advantage of these to get the word out about what we are doing.
Also by clicking on the FORUM button you can access areas for arranging car pools to out-of-town events, prayer requests and praises, and a science discussion forum. We encourage you to use these!

One Day Family Creation Camp
Sandy Lane has agreed to be the Creation Camp Coordinator for AzOSA. She will head up the organizational work to make this a reality. Sandy is looking for people who want to take part in the activity either by helping to organize it, assist in running it when it is held, or by teaching sessions. The idea is to have sessions for elementary and secondary school-aged kids and adults simultaneously in a one-day schedule on Saturdays. First thoughts are to have a summer camp in Prescott, a fall camp in Phoenix and a spring camp in Tucson. Eventually, we would like to see this grow into family weekend camps and even a week long summer camp. If you would to sign up or ask for more information please call Sandy at 480-807-0695 (h) or 602-615-2326 (cell) or email her at lane@forensicgroup.com.
