In this talk Dr Anderson looks at the history of uniformitarianism in geologists like Charles Lyell and its impact on Darwin and materialist/naturalist origins theories. These assumptions are found in all dating methods which have become standard in making claims about the age of life and the earth. It has important bearing on how naturalists and Christians alike understand the problem of evil, the purpose of natural evil, and the original goodness of creation.
The History of Basement Rock: Creation, Pre-Flood, During the Flood, and Post Flood. There is no denying that there is at least one miracle involved with basement rock, possibly two. Together, those miracles took a few seconds or minutes to trigger the events that followed. Those following events followed the laws of physics.
