The Decay Among Us
This presentation expands upon this reality in a wide-ranging discussion about one universal truth: everything is decaying. Whether observed in the mechanical, geological, astronomical, biological, social, political or spiritual spheres of human knowledge, the fact of decay is a reality. From the Bible we understand that the reason for this degradation of everything relates directly to sin and the curse that came upon this universe as a result. There is good news though, this decay is not permanent. This is a very powerful presentation that will challenge you to look at the impact of sin in our universe, on our planet and in your own life.
The Word, Light, and Life – Jesus and His Creation
This talk looks at Christ in Creation and throughout Scripture to see how the author and sustainer of life imparted that life into His Creation and continues to do so. Using John 1 as the main text, this discussion will look at three qualities that are used to describe Christ and how, from science and the Bible, we see each of these apply to creation, the world around us and our new creation in Him (2 Cor 5:17). This talk will also look at the antithesis of this, decay and death, and how these are combatants in His creation that will one day again be removed – also by His work. Please join us for this enlightening message that will resonate with the foundation of the Gospel.
