On January 19 thirteen (13) people availed themselves of this course which was designed to provide the Christian with biblical tools that can be used in discussions with nonbelievers. This one day training course equipped these thirteen Christians with the knowledge and skills to be effective speakers/teachers on creation apologetics. Through lecture, exercises, and class participation they learned and absorbed biblical truth from instructor Mike Riddle.

Creation Training Initiative (CTI) has announced an essay contest…
Win a $570 scholarship to attend the 5-day Creation Apologetics Teachers College this year August 12-17 in Ridgecrest NC (near Asheville, NC).
You will be with a group of like-minded believers who want to learn more about God’s creation and biblical apologetics. Last year’s class consisted of college students, scientists, teachers, doctors, and people with a desire to learn more and be able to use the information to teach this foundational truth.
Because of generous donors, each year Creation Training Initiative conducts a scholarship essay contest. This year we will be able to offer three full scholarships which cover the cost of the conference, 5 nights of lodging and all meals.
How to enter
Write an essay, 450 words or less, on the following challenge:
“Should Christian schools teach all the views about creation (i.e. gap theory, day-age-theory, framework hypothesis, literal 6-day, progressive creation, God used evolution) and then let students decide for themselves what to believe?”
Rules
Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Essays must be 450 words or less.
All essays must be received by May 1st.
Winners will be announced on May 22nd.

The Coconino formation is a layer of stone which was laid down over a short time period or over millions of years. This formation covers a good part of Arizona, Utah and Colorado, including Sedona and the Grand Canyon. This lecture focuses on recent research which provides evidence that this formation was laid down by water over a short period of time. Come and look at the evidence.

BIO: In 2003 Guy and Cindy started Crying Rocks Ministry in Sedona to bring awareness to that area of the creation-science topic. Guy also works as a Grand Canyon Guide for Canyon Ministries. Guy is a member of the FAST team from the Institute for Creation Research and has a published article on the Coconino geological formation showing that this layer of stone was laid down during the flood.

Fragments of several proteins have been extracted from different dinosaur fossils. Evolutionists have proposed various mechanisms to explain how these proteins could survive for millions of years in a buried fossil. However, protein degradation studies contradict the claims that certain conditions could preserve proteins for millions of years. Instead, these proteins are evidence that the dinosaur fossils are only a few thousand years of age.

The basic teachings of contemporary evolution were developed long before anything was understood about genetics. Thus, early investigators, such as Darwin, understood little of genetics and inheritance, but contemporary researchers do not have this excuse. As our understanding of genetics increases, the validity of evolution diminishes. What is more, recent discoveries about the nature and function of the human genome strongly contradict several popular evolutionary claims and strongly support a creation model.
