What the Fossils Tell Us

July 20, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Fossils tell us a great deal about geological processes that were at work in the past. They can only be created in catastrophic conditions. Those conditions and their implications will be discussed. In addition, the lecture will show how the naturalist/evolutionist explanation for fossil formation is falsified by generally accepted geologic knowledge and data.

SPEAKER: Guy Forsythe

BIOGRAPHY: Guy was a Technology Education teacher at a high school in Ohio for 30 years. When becoming a Christian at age 29 he immediately started to study the creation-evolution debate and quickly saw that creation is the logical scientific explanation of the universe and everything in it. Upon retiring in 2003, Guy and his wife Cindy moved to Sedona and God led them to start Crying Rocks Ministry to bring awareness of creation science to Sedona. Guy also works as a Grand Canyon Guide for Canyon Ministries. He recently published a paper on his discovery of parabolic recumbent folds in the Coconino Formation, in Sedona, that strengthens the argument that the Coconino Formation was deposited rapidly in water.
