Understanding Origins from a Biblical Perspective

Session 4 – Oct 9 – Stars, Light and Energy

This session looks at some topics related to astronomical evolution and the claims that a universe filled with order, and constrained by natural laws, could arise by chance in defiance of these laws now operating. Discussion covers the origin of the universe, the problems with the Big Bang Theory & the roles of the laws of science – especially the laws of order. Biblical considerations of light and energy are discussed, and how they relate to this issue and to our understanding of God and his workings in history.
